Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
Our dinner was probably a lot more conservative then most, and a little less traditional. We didn't have any pumpkin or turkey. We did have potatoes though and this is one of the best ways to have them.
Simple meal, with some roasted pork loin, steamed vegetables, rice, and roasted potatoes. The potatoes are thinly sliced, seasoned and layered. Then, we pour a egg, milk, and cream mixture to fill in the gaps. Sprinkle a heavy layer of cheese on top to melt and give a nice brown golden layer, and you are good to go.
